Apply through the website. If approved, you receive access to the WhatsApp community and can choose the groups that fit your interests.

Finding an event
Find events in the relevant WhatsApp group or at socialoslo.no/events. Green events are free to join, Yellow events require payment, and Blue listings share another organiser’s event. Read the event details before responding.
Booking your place
If the event post asks you to book at socialoslo.no/events, follow its link and book with your name and email—no account needed. Selecting ‘Going’ on WhatsApp or another platform does not reserve your place for these events. For events organised entirely on WhatsApp, respond in WhatsApp as usual.
Hosting your first event
Choose a clear idea, time, place and capacity. Explain what attendees should expect and keep ownership of the practical details.
Changing your plans
If you cannot attend, cancel through your emailed booking link or update your WhatsApp response, depending on where you booked. There are no attendance strikes. For paid events, read the event’s cancellation and refund terms before booking.
The host makes the plan.
Every event is member-created. Suggestions are welcome, but the host decides the structure, capacity and practical rules because they are volunteering their time to make it happen.
